Executive Protection in the Hamptons
Every summer, many of New York's most visible people move about a hundred miles east. Protection has to move with them, and the Hamptons work by very different rules than Manhattan.
REQUEST A CONSULTATIONA Different Kind of Exposure
In the city, a client is one face in a crowd. On the East End, everyone knows whose house is whose, and a few roads carry all the traffic. Montauk Highway is the main route through the villages, and on a summer Friday a short drive can take an hour.
Estates are large, often secluded and full of people who are not family: house guests, caterers, landscapers and seasonal staff who change from one summer to the next. Knowing who is on the property matters as much as watching the gate.
The season is also a calendar of galas, polo, private parties and openings, many of them photographed and announced. And when the season ends, the houses sit empty for months, which is when remote camera monitoring earns its keep.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you provide protection for the whole summer season?
Coverage can be planned for the full season, for weekends only or for specific dates such as a gala or a house party.
Can your drivers handle the trip from Manhattan?
Yes. The trip out is planned like any other movement: departure time chosen around traffic, a primary and an alternate route, and a driver available for local movements once you arrive.
Can you meet a client arriving at East Hampton airport?
Yes. Flying in is common on the East End, so we stage a vehicle and an agent for the arrival, the same way we would at JFK or Teterboro.
How do you handle house guests and staff?
We work with the household to know who is expected each day. Guests, caterers and contractors are verified at the gate, which keeps the property open for the people who belong there and closed to those who do not.
What about the months when the house is empty?
Off-season, remote camera monitoring keeps watch over the property and flags anything unusual, so the house is not left unattended from September to May.
Do you work with the host's security at events?
Yes. At a private party or a gala we coordinate with the host's team and the venue, and focus on our client: the arrival, the movement during the event and the departure.
